2024 September Hengchun Peninsula Coastline Cleanup
Dates: September 30 – October 1, 2024 Location: Hengchun Peninsula, Southern Taiwan Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day Join Us for a Greener Tomorrow! The beautiful coastlines of Hengchun Peninsula need our help! As one of Taiwan’s most stunning natural landscapes, it’s our responsibility to keep it pristine. We invite everyone—locals, tourists, and environmental enthusiasts—to come together for the 2024 Hengchun Peninsula Coastline Cleanup.
Event Details
Day 1 (September 30):
- Morning Session (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Cleanup along the Longpan Park coastline.
- Lunch Break (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM): Lunch provided at Longpan Park Visitor Center.
- Afternoon Session (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Cleanup continues along the Jialeshuei Beach.
Day 2 (October 1):
- Morning Session (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Cleanup around Nanwan Beach.
- Lunch Break (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM): Lunch provided at Nanwan Beach Pavilion.
- Afternoon Session (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Final cleanup efforts around Kenting National Park’s coastal trails.
What to Bring
- Reusable water bottle
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
- Comfortable clothes and shoes
- Gloves (provided on-site)
- Reusable bags for collecting trash (provided on-site)
