Since hosting the first Kenting Cup International Surfing Competition in 2006, the number of surfing enthusiasts in Taiwan has steadily grown each year. Drawing from six years of international competition experience and extensive research into the local surfing scene, our association is now focused on aligning Taiwan’s surfing activities with global standards. To achieve this, we are launching the inaugural points-based tour, the “Taiwan National Surfing Championship,” with the goal of discovering top surfers across the country and establishing a comprehensive surfing framework in Taiwan. In addition, we aim to promote collaboration among surfing clubs and encourage the flourishing of surfing culture, industries, and products throughout Taiwan.
